[If he trusted Dave less, Connor would probably be bitchier about that. Ruin whatever is between them out of insecurity because if he hurts someone else, then at least he knows who's in the wrong. That never works, though. Ruining things because he's afraid of what might go wrong is how he ended up spending a summer trying not to drown himself in the pool back when he actually could drown.
